Educational & Other Qualifications:-Internal Candidates:
- Master degree in the relevant disciplines with 5 years’ experience as Director -1 at SLIATE or ATI
and - An excellent performance record based on the performance appraisal system. Preference will be given to those who have experience in developing plans for Academic Institutes and experience in research.
External Candidates:
- Master Degree in the relevant disciplines with 18 years post qualifying Academic/Research experience of which at least 5 years should be at senior managerial level in a Higher Education Institute
- Preference will be given to those who have experience in developing plans for Academic Institutes and experience in research work
Salary Scale: – HM 2 – 1 – 2016 Rs. 91,645-12×2700-124045
Other Benefits: Assigned Vehicle with government approved allowances.
Conditions of Service :-
- Selected candidates will become the contributors to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) contributing 10% of their earnings and the SLIATE contributing 15% of their earnings from its funds and also contributing 3% of their earnings to the Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).
- Age limit is below 45 years for all categories. However, it will not apply to those who are in the permanent cadre in the Public/State sector.
- Applicants in Government Departments, Corporations and Statutory Boards should send their applications through the Heads of respective Institutions.
- Selected applicants holding pensionable post in Government Departments will have to obtain their release through the Director General of Establishments. However, they will not be entitled to pension rights whilst in the service of the SLIATE.
